  • Q.Why should I consider investing in Liberty’s Home Solutions?
  • A.With any investment comes a venture that one expects a return.  With Liberty Systems we aim to simplify the ability to monitor and control you premises with ease.  With a wide range of solutions and services we make it easy to do what was once time consuming or impractical.

  • Q.What is HAI, a computer?
  • A.HAI is not a computer as you know one.  It is an engineered controller designed for reliability and customization.  At its heart, it’s an alarm system with many features not commonly found with other equipment.  It was also given the ability to communicate externally and with many other existing sub-systems like thermostats, audio and lighting.  A misconception with HAI is that it takes control over your house when it simply interfaces with it.  Your heat, music and light switches will continue to work even if HAI was removed.  Then only the extended features that HAI provided will be unavailable.

  • Q.What is the HAI security advantage?
  • A.HAI for a number of years has included the ability to go beyond the standards for a “burglar alarm”.  The ability to have it call designated contacts on specific events such as fire, burglar, flood, freeze…  and repeat a brief message to inform someone of an event.  Remote access via software and with recent development this has been extended to SMS texts and email notifications of any event desired.  Under normal circumstances notifications are received within 15 seconds of the event, subject to cell/email provider.  A highly customized touchscreen can be created to control and monitor a premises from anywhere in the world for when you are away.

  • Q.How affordable is a security and automation system?
  • A.The HAI Omni panel core installation is the backbone of all Security and Automation. Kits installed, start under $3000. After the Omni system is installed all additional security sensors and automation items can be staged in phases, or simply held off for years to come before the client has a need to integrate and automate.

  • Q.How secure is HAI since it works over the Internet?
  • A.Access to a physical console or keypad requires a standard 4 digit code to operate security functions.  To connect remotely from a PC or mobile device requires a 128 bit encryption key for access as well as a 4 digit code to operate.  The key only needs to be entered once in every device used and the active HAI key may be changed at any time from only an on premises keypad!  The key CAN NOT be changed remotely.

  • Q.When engineering automation, what is the most critical phase?
  • A.After automation has been installed, one of the most important steps still remain. Tailoring it to the needs of the customer whether from additional features, integration or programming. This finial post-install phase is what makes automation transparently apart of your daily life.  Making technology work for you without further complication.
